When do you we start?


We will hold our kick off meeting on 9/5 at 6pm and start the contest with all contestants on 9/9. Prior to beginning, we will be working with you to collect pertinent information, get you set up for your training, and do the all-important first assessment and weigh-in.


How much can I expect to lose during these 8 weeks?


That is all very individual. We have had people lose as much as 30 lbs and as little as 5. It all depends on where you are starting out and how much effort you put into your training and nutrition during the 8-week contest.


It also depends on where you are starting. If you have a small frame or are looking to get stronger, you might not lose as much as someone in a different scenario.


Our biggest focus is on helping you get fit and healthy, whatever that may mean to you. (Keep in mind that the winners are chosen not just by number of pounds lost but also by the overall transformation achieved.)


If I am a current member, what do I pay?


You will join for $59-149 depending on what package your on now, which includes 1 additional personal training session and the  group classes a week and a meal plan


What if I don’t have a lot of weight to lose?


This isn’t about weight loss; this is a transformation contest. You will be assessed on your transformation pictures first and all the other numbers (weight, body fat, inches, etc) second. So, the person who wins might not be the one who loses the most but rather the person who has the best overall transformation. Losing the last 10 lbs. is often harder than the first 10 lbs., but it is also much more noticeable in your pictures.


What if I want to keep my nutrition/training/lifestyle the same?


That is your decision to make! We will supply you with an amazing nutrition plan that has been proven to get results, and we will provide you world-class training, but you have the choice to follow it or do it on your own. However, we think that you know which one will lead to better results.


If I follow your nutrition plan, will I be starving all the time?

·      The beginning weigh-in and measurement must take place between September 9 – November 1. The final weigh-in must be completed between October 28-November 1.


·      All contestants are recommended to complete 4 workouts per week in a combination of strength training, cardiovascular, and large group training programs for maximum results.


·      There are 3 total weigh-ins, and all 3 are mandatory. If a contestant misses a weigh-in, they will be disqualified from competition. You must complete your weigh-ins before the deadline dates. (It is the responsibility of each contestant to make sure they weigh in on time, not that of the XLand Fitness Team.)
